Anna will be covering the role of Tisbe in British Youth Opera’s production of La Cenerentola this summer with a performance on the 6th September.

The classic Cinderella story, with a human touch. Without a fairy godmother or pumpkin coach, our heroine has to depend entirely on true love and the kindness of others to make her dreams come true – the exact opposite of what she gets at home.

Performances with Southbank Sinfonia.

Conducted by Peter Robinson.

Directed by Stuart Barker.

This summer let a terrific RCM cast take you back to the booming fifties with an evening of sparkling musical satire. Peel back the sunny veneer of the American dream in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti. We lift the curtain on 1950s suburbia with a seven-scene sneak peek into the marriage of brash capitalist Sam and his frustrated housewife, Dinah. From arias that plumb the depths of domestic woe to the infectiously cheerful Greek chorus and their swing-style songs of domestic bliss, this kitchen sink drama brings everything to the stage: big musical numbers, traditional opera, a little jazz and plenty of comedy gold.

Anna will be performing the role of ‘Dinah’ in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti on the following dates:

Robinson Crusoe is a light-hearted love story loosely based on Daniel Defoe’s classic novel, which celebrates its 300th anniversary this year. Offenbach’s opera is a seafaring musical adventure set against a backdrop of Victoriana, colonialism and cannibalism. The story follows hopeless romantic Robinson as he sets sail for South America with dreams of finding a fortune for his fiancée Edwige.
