Anna Cooper began her musical career as a choral scholar for Levens Choir and received wonderful support to aid her music making. She will be joining the choir once again to sing the solos in Vaughan William’s Sea Symphony. A beautiful soundscape of colours, emotions and sonority.

British Youth Opera is a training programme for young professionals. All participants onstage and behind the scenes, from singers to stage management, are at the beginning of their careers in opera.

A concert celebrating the songs of three unsung geniuses. Two are centenary celebrations: Sir Malcolm Arnold, best known for his film music, including The Bridge on the River Kwai for which he won an Oscar, and Peter Wishart. They are joined in this concert by Geoffrey Bush, born in 1920, whose songs rival and in fact surpass any other English song composer of the 20th century in their lyrism and beauty.

A Summer evening of operatic arias and duets introducing the newest cohort of Opera Prelude Young Artists and some of the finest young talent emerging on the operatic stage.
Performing at this concert will be: Milly Forrest (soprano), Eline Vandenheede (soprano), Anna Cooper (mezzo soprano), Joanna Harries (mezzo soprano), James Way (tenor), Patrick Keefe (baritone) and Maria Levandovskaya (piano).
After a triumphant Saul, Barrie Kosky returns to direct Glyndebourne’s first ever production of Dialogues des Carmélites. Robin Ticciati conducts a superb ensemble cast.
