London Song Festival: Three Unsung Geniuses

A concert celebrating the songs of three unsung geniuses. Two are centenary celebrations: Sir Malcolm Arnold, best known for his film music, including The Bridge on the River Kwai for which he won an Oscar, and Peter Wishart. They are joined in this concert by Geoffrey Bush, born in 1920, whose songs rival and in fact surpass any other English song composer of the 20th century in their lyrism and beauty.

A Summer evening of operatic arias and duets introducing the newest cohort of Opera Prelude Young Artists and some of the finest young talent emerging on the operatic stage.
