Performances with Southbank Sinfonia.

This summer let a terrific RCM cast take you back to the booming fifties with an evening of sparkling musical satire. Peel back the sunny veneer of the American dream in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti. We lift the curtain on 1950s suburbia with a seven-scene sneak peek into the marriage of brash capitalist Sam and his frustrated housewife, Dinah. From arias that plumb the depths of domestic woe to the infectiously cheerful Greek chorus and their swing-style songs of domestic bliss, this kitchen sink drama brings everything to the stage: big musical numbers, traditional opera, a little jazz and plenty of comedy gold.
Anna will be performing the role of ‘Dinah’ in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti on the following dates:
Wednesday 26th June 7.00pm
Saturday 29th June 7.00pm
